Birdsong Cabin is situated on 9 acres of scenic peaceful beauty, and enjoys stunningly beautiful views of Kicking Horse Mountain Range from the bedroom window looking across the valley. The property is close to KHMR to enjoy skiing, or biking and on the doorstep to Yoho, Banff and Revelstoke National Parks to explore & enjoy outdoor recreation all year round. Birdsong Cabin is only 6km from Golden town center and 20km from Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The space Two levels, custom-made original design. Built by the owner with loving care. A modern rustic combination. There is a bedroom upstairs accessed from the cosy lounge. Off the lounge is a spacious kitchen/dining area, as well as a bathroom with a shower, sink, and composting toilet. The cabin is set in its own garden area with beautiful trees that the birds love to serenade you from in the summer mornings! An outside deck creates a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy warm summer evenings and apres hiking dining! Guest access The Home is located at the top of a gravel driveway that winds up hill. A few twists and turns to take slowly, but accessible in any vehicle in summer, in winter 4 4-wheel drive is recommended. Enjoy the tranquility of the 9-acre property. It's the perfect place for accessing hiking and biking in summer and nearby cross-country skiing or snowshoeing trails in winter. The cabin parking area does require reversing in and out of, however, there is a space to back into and turn around in. Other things to note Birdsong Cabin is in a rural location and serviced by satellite internet service. It's maybe not as fast as city dwellers are used to but, generally service is great for watching Netflix and downloading your favorite movies. But honestly, you'll probably prefer to enjoy the views and be out in nature! The driveway is graveled and is uneven in places. Four Wheel Drive vehicles are definitely recommended in winter!
