House in the heart of the village

Charming house in the heart of the historic, quiet and peaceful village of Mont Saint Eloi, at the gates of Arras. A corner of paradise to recharge your batteries with family, friends or colleagues with all the comforts of a family home and all amenities nearby! In a green and soothing setting, with views of the towers of Mont Saint Eloi, we offer this pleasant and bright house from the 1930s, completely renovated in an industrial and family style. The space The kitchen is fully furnished with all the necessary equipment (crockery and appliances). The house has 4 comfortable bedrooms (new bedding): - 3 bedrooms upstairs, one with a 160 x 190 cm double bed - one bedroom with two single beds - another with a single bed - And a 4th bedroom of 14 m2 on the ground floor with a double bed of 140 x 190 cm. - A crib (as well as a small bathtub) can also be provided. We don't provide towels. The house has a dishwasher, washing machine (provide laundry and tablets), iron, cleaning products and vacuum cleaner. Shower room (Italian) and separate toilet. Parking spaces (free) in front of the house, small enclosed courtyard in front and enclosed and quiet garden (with terrace and swing) in the back of the house, with views of the Mont Saint Eloi wood. In the village, 5 min walk and less than 300 m from the house, you will find: - a community café "Le Choucas des Tours" in a family atmosphere and "like home" (sale of local products, small restaurant, games library, bread depot, various workshops, shared garden, children's corner, events, etc.) - a restaurant "la table des tours" offering traditional local cuisine - The Abbey Farm (open Friday and Saturday) which offers homemade cold cuts and delicious processed products made from pork, duck, poultry etc! - A municipal library Less than 5 minutes' drive away, you will find all amenities in the village of Maroeuil: bakery, Carrefour Market, pharmacy, etc. and you have access to the Arras shopping area 10 minutes' drive away. The village is beautiful and there are many hikes and walks, especially from the house. The village is dynamic and very family-friendly: there are many events (sound and light show in September, bike races, trails, exhibitions, etc.) A few meters from the house you can discover the ruins of the Abbey of Mont Saint Eloi dating from the 18th century, but also the Grand Place of Arras and its belfry 15 min away, the Boves and the citadel, the Wellington quarries, the Louvre Lens Museum 20 min away, the Canadian monument of Vimy, the memorial of Notre Dame de Lorette, the many military cemeteries... Guest access The house is 10-15 minutes from Arras and 3 km from the Arras-Le Touquet D939 road. We'll let you tell us 24 hours before your arrival the expected time of arrival by text message and then confirm this by text message also the same day, 1 hour before your arrival. Other things to note Upon arrival, the house will be clean, tidy and welcoming. We ask that you leave it this way upon your checkout. (Cleaning equipment is provided.) We do not allow smoking on the property. No pets allowed, no matter how small and quiet. A higher number of hosts than the one for which the house is intended will not be accepted. Central heating is turned off from 1 May to 30 September.
