Renoux’s Atelier, Romantic Retreat

This romantic place offers a history all of its own and it is ideal for lovers of Champagne. The impressionist painter Ernest Renoux created many of his famous paintings in this studio annex to his 17th Century home in Romeny Sur Marne. The Atelier nestles among champagne vineyards close to the River Marne and a stone’s throw from Chateau Thierry, the birthplace of Jean de la Fontaine writer of the famous Fables. Conveniently only 45 mins to Disneyland by car and 50 mins to Paris by train .
