Guest access Entire cottage Other things to note Please note that our hot tub is wood burning-the fire will be started for you before you arrive but you must ensure that you maiming the fire or you will have to restart the fire from scratch. Please ensure you are arriving on time or if you’re coming later please note that you will have to start the fire. The tub needs a few hours to warm up, so please make sure you’re tending to the fire upon arrival. You’ll need to stoke the fire every hour or so. Although we are not on an off-road property-were in cottage country which gets a lot of snow , we recommend a 4x4 when visiting The Haus on the River Please note that the main floor is surrounded by beautiful 6ft wide windows, while this provides an incredible 180 degree view, it makes the space cooler than the top. For this reason we’ve provided extra space heaters that can be used.
