Convenient location 5 minutes from the airport & 12 minutes from downtown. Near coastal trail & walking distance of lake Hood. Our cozy 2 bedroom apartment will feel like your home away from home! Convenience and atmosphere. The two-bedroom 2 bath apartment is upstairs from the owner's living space. The master bedroom is furnished with a California King foam mattress and has a private master bathroom. The second bedroom is with queen bed and has access to a comma area full bathroom just across the hall. Interact with hosts or enjoy your privacy, it's your choice! A 5-minute drive from Anchorage International Airport and within easy walking distance of lake Hood. Whether just stopping for the night flying in or out of town or an extended stay, this will feel like your home away from home. Guests have access to the upstairs apartment and, coordinated with hosts, the downstairs washer and dryer (in the host's bathroom). The owners living space is on the ground floor. While we have access to the main entrance used by the guests to access our space, we use the ground-level door at the back of the house for your privacy. As we live in the same building, It's the guest's preference on the level of interaction. The location is very convenient for traveling. 5 minute drive from Anchorage International, 12 minute drive from downtown and the train station, and walking distance to lake Hood which offers flight seeing and remote excursions. Hosts will provide transportation to and from the airport when we are available. City Bus stop is within 6 minutes walking distance. Many fast food and sit down restaurants within 15 to 25 minutes walking distance; however, a car is much more convenient for getting to/from eating establishments (or delivery). The home is one side of a duplex (we own both sides), so there is a family living next door. They do have kids but are usually very quiet and do not keep up late hours. The couch in the living room does fold out to make a bed if more than 4 guests and they do not mind sleeping on the couch. We are continually upgrading the space, so there may be remodeling or landscaping going on, but not in the guest space.
