Fitzrovia is truly the ideal neighborhood to explore London from. You will be a 5 minute walk from 8 different tube lines. Or, you can just walk everywhere given the central location! This place is my real home, and it's not easy to find individual hosts in the absolute centre of London. The space This property would be a great fit for a small group of friends, two couples, or even work colleagues who want separate spaces. The flat consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a spacious living and dining area. The first bedroom close to the living area is the master bedroom and has an ensuite bathroom that has a bathtub with shower over it. This bedroom has a UK-sized king bed, which is 150x200 cm. This is closer to a US-sized queen bed. The second bedroom has a bathroom with a shower next to it. Please note this bedroom has a UK-sized double bed, which is 137x190 cm. This is smaller than its US-sized counterpart - it can certainly fit 2 people, but you should be good friends or a couple if you want to share this bed. It also has a working space with a desk and screen that you can connect to your laptop if you wish. I will ensure that you have hotel-quality linen and towels for your stay and of course everything will be professionally cleaned beforehand! At the end of the hall is the living and dining area. There is a large kitchen with full size fridge & freezer, dishwasher, four burner gas hob, microwave, oven and washer/dryer. I love cooking and baking, so you'll find everything you need to cook and bake if you wish, though with literally hundreds of restaurants within a 15 minute walk you'll probably want to go out most of the time. The reception area has a couch, two comfy chairs, and a dining table that can seat up to 6. There is also a small balcony. Guest access You will have the entire sizable flat to yourself, which includes the spacious living/dining area. The bedrooms are down the hall from each other. Other things to note I live here full-time but do travel for work and pleasure fairly frequently, so while I'll ensure you have space to spread out, my items will remain in the flat (old-school Airbnb style). You're welcome to peruse my massive collection of Conde Nast magazines, play chess, or read a book from my collection. I've run an Airbnb management company in the past so I'm well aware of all the things hosting companies do, especially in the centre of London. If you're after a more personalised and original Airbnb experience, my place might be a good fit for you! Because there will not be guests staying before or after you, I can be super flexible with check in and check out times. You'll be able to leave your luggage early and most likely check in early and check out late (just depends a bit on my travel schedule). I will ensure that you're well-stocked with recommendations for London and you should feel free to ask me for specifics! A couple other things to be aware of: - The flat is right by a pub, which means there can be noise until 10 or 11 pm - There is no air conditioning in the flat, so during the summer if you are desperate for AC you might have to find a hotel instead. However, I do provide very powerful fans! Unless London has a massive heat wave (>40C/100F), the temperature is completely manageable.
