Bougainvillea Cottage is situated in the trendy suburb of Parkhurst. Our detached cottage is set on the corner of our double stand property offering you ample space for your Joburg stay. The cottage is linked to the property's solar ensuring uninterrupted power. We are walking distance from 4th avenue for those looking for Joburg's best coffee shops, boutiques and restaurants. For business travelers we are conveniently close to Rosebank and Sandton. The space Our one bedroom cottage is a great space whether you are visiting Joburg for leisure or business. The bedroom has a queen sized bed fitted with comfortable linen. There is ample cupboard space to make sure you're feeling right at home! There is a separate bathroom with a toilet and shower. There is generous kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, stove/oven and Nespresso machine, as well as all necessary cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. The living room has a desk for those needing to do work during their stay. There is solar backup power and uncapped high speed wifi. The bedroom and lounge sliding doors open onto the garden where there is a seating area and access to our pool. All sliding doors are covered by a security gate. Parking in the garage can be arranged at an extra cost of R100 per night. While we are fortunate to live on a double stand property, we do have two young children so you can expect activity on the property during the day. Lastly, if you need washing and ironing done during the course of your stay - please let us know and we can gladly assist for a small fee. Guest access Guests have private access via the pedestrian gate down the side of the property. For those that request parking (an extra cost) - this is in our garage. Other things to note Aside from our direct family, you may bump into Thandi and Jaylos during your stay. Thandi is on the property during the week and Jaylos works on a Saturday. While we have a pool, use is at our discretion given it is covered with a net as we have young children.
