The Woodwose Cabin is located on our beautiful 26-acre resort that is less than three miles from the Cherokee National Forest. The cabin will sleep up to eight people. It has three bedrooms total. Two of the bedrooms have queen beds and the third one has a bunk bed. There is also a fold out couch in the living room that will sleep two more. It has a full kitchen with an oven, dish washer, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot with coffee included. There is also a dining room that seats eight. The space Our cabin rentals, disc golf course, and covered pavilion with grills for cookouts are open year round. We also have a whitewater rafting company onsite and would love to get out on the river with you, so please let us know if you are interested in making a reservation to go rafting. That way we can be sure to schedule one of our professional whitewater river guides in advance for your trip. In addition to whitewater rafting, the Ocoee River area offers great hiking trails including several spectacular waterfalls, boating on nearby Parksville Lake, top notch mountain biking trails in a scenic setting, glider rides, geocaching, and more. We offer whitewater rafting trips on the Ocoee River March through October. The Ocoee River was the site for the 1996 whitewater Olympic events and has action packed class 3-4 rapids. It is one of the top whitewater destinations in the entire country. Our property is located just two miles off the main road so it is very accessible, but is also in a beautiful country setting. We are less then three miles from the Cherokee National Forest that offers all kinds of additional outdoor activities. Guest access All guests are welcome to utilize our nine disc golf course and our covered pavilion with charcoal grills for cookouts. Please remember to bring some charcoal if you plan to grill out. Feel free to hike around and explore our 26 acre property. There is a lot of wildlife here. We regularly see deer wandering through the property and get to hear the hoot owls at dusk. We also have some amazing spots for star gazing that won't be dimmed by the city lights.
