From April-Sept, we will attempt to maintain a water temp of at least 80 degrees. There is no additional cost for heating the pool during these months, but due to variable weather conditions, we cannot guarantee pool water temp. PICKLEBALL COURT Covered area under house for family fun! Net, paddles, and balls provided LINENS All linens are provided, including sheets and pillowcases, towels, wash cloths, beach towels, kitchen cloths, blankets, and bed pillows. TRASH BINS Guests staying over a Monday night are asked to roll trash and recycle bins to the street and retrieve them on Tuesday morning after pick-up. FIRE PIT Guests are welcome to use the fire pit and firewood in back yard. Be sure to keep fire extinguisher and/or water source nearby. Children must be supervised at all times. ELEVATOR The elevator is intended for use by individuals who are mobility-impaired, but it may also be used at the beginning and end of stay for any guests transporting luggage and other items that are too heavy to carry up and down the stairs. Operation of the elevator is restricted to ADULTS over the age of 18. TRAVEL INSURANCE Travel insurance is recommended to cover the cost of cancelling your stay after the cancellation period is over. If your stay is cancelled or interrupted due to local hurricane orders, there is no refund. Hurricane season is typically June to November, but the most active times are August through mid-October. SUGGESTED USE OF HOME This home is perfect for 2-3 couples, 1 large family, or 2 small families. It is not suitable for parties or any events that would disturb this quiet neighborhood. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, pool, and yard (except the owner's closet in the primary bedroom and part of the storage room). Guests may also use the ping-pong table and beach equipment in the downstairs storage room and the pool floats/toys in the big brown box near the elevator. HEATING FOR SWIMMING POOL The pool is open year round for guest use and is heated to at least 80 degrees in April - September at no additional charge. Guests may request heating for March or October for an additional $50 per night (3 night minimum) or $75 per night for November - January (3 night minimum). PET POLICY Pets, including Emotional Support Animals, are not allowed. However, we are happy to accept Service Dogs for guests with disabilities. In this case, you will be asked to answer the following questions, which are legally allowed by the ADA regarding your service dog: 1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform? We do not charge extra for a service dog, nor do we increase the security deposit. The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or dogs. In accordance with the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls. The animal must be under control of the handler at all times; therefore, it must not be left alone in the home at any time. If we discover a guest has misrepresented a pet as a service animal or brings any unqualified animal to the property without host's written approval, we reserve the right to seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims to government authorities and to evict the guest(s) immediately and without rights to a refund for unused rent.
