Another poem - discover the poetry of the Highlands

We have opened a timeless cottage for your dream holiday, where the poetry of Vysoké poets is combined with the poetics of the Žďárské vrchy landscape. In the region of many winters, in the middle of forests and meadows, where the air smells crystal clear and there is still full darkness at night, we rediscovered our home on the well-trodden paths of our ancestors. And right next to it, we built a place where we invite you. We believe that you will have a fulfilling time here and we will do our best to make you happy to come back. The space Together with our architect friends, we built two houses next to each other: we live in the first, the second is for family, friends and guests. Both buildings are designed in a contemporary, clean and minimalist style, while respecting the traditional architectural morphology of the Polička region. Come and see how we did it. Guest access The entire house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen is available to guests. The lower floor of the house (dining room with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom with toilet and terrace) is also accessible to people with reduced mobility. You can also spend your free time on your own terrace or in a large garden shared with us. Other things to note We tried to equip Jiná báseň with everything you need for a peaceful and comfortable holiday. In the fully equipped kitchen, you will find enough dishes and utensils to cook comfortably for the entire population. There is a hotplate, oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, espresso machine and french press for coffee, toaster or hand blender. There is also a wine shop and you can taste the beautiful wines of our friends, winemakers from South Moravia. The bathrooms feature branded soaps and shampoos as well as a hair dryer. You can also use a washing machine equipped with an ecological detergent. A summer retreat will be provided by a bench with a soothing view of the garden and the hill or a large terrace with garden furniture, a folding and tilting umbrella and a grill, which we will be happy to lend you. We don't have a TV in Another Poem. But a lot of poetry books. And a little bit of fiction. We are constantly expanding the library and will be happy for tips on other, different poems :) For children, we have toys and games, a large garden with a forest right on the property and a new large sandbox. Electricity is not included in the price of the stay and we would like to ask you to pay for electricity according to actual consumption (6.50 CZK/kWh). We have a brand new and beautiful garden Finnish sauna with a wood stove, an outdoor shower and a small relaxation room. The price for a full evening private sauna is 1,490 CZK (one fee for all guests). The price also includes the rental of sheets and bathrobes. The sauna must be booked for a specific day, please book in advance.
