Frederiksted Town and Fort Frederick beach is a minute away by car and 10-15 minutes walking distance. The west end of St. Croix, near Frederiksted has the best beaches on the island! Rainbow beach is 4 minutes away by car and Dorsch beach (the most popular) is 5-7 minutes by car. There is no A/C. This is a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo with a living room and a kitchen. Everything is ready for your enjoyable stay. If you like to cook, you will certainly appreciate our equipped kitchen that has cookware, utensils, tools, toaster, microwave, a vitamix blender, coffee drip machine and spices. There is no A/C. Occasionally you’ll see horses, ponies, peacocks, sheep and goat roaming around the neighborhood. Here you will sleep to the sounds of crickets and wake up to the sounds of birds. This location is amazing because it lies right behind town, so you don’t hear traffic and commotion. The yard is large enough for children to walk and run around. If you love to work out, you can enjoy a walk or a jog in the archery field when there’s not a session. La Grange is minutes away from the beaches, restaurants, dive shops, post office, children’s park, Frederiksted Pier and corner markets in town. The best way to explore St. Croix is to book a rental car online. It’s the best way to explore the island if you want to do scenic drives, excursions, dives, hikes or go to local events. Having a vehicle on the island makes it easier to shop for groceries or go to a pharmacy. If you don’t have a rental, you can walk to Frederiksted town and catch the bus at Buddhoe Park or the taxi cabs on the main road to go to the supermarket or Christiansted. Search online for VITran or Virgin Islands Transit for routes and schedules. The bus fare is $1.
