Other things to note Cabañas de Polendos is located on the Green Crafts and Segovian Romanesque routes, very close to the capital (16 km) and close to Cantimpalos. Located in an area of mountains and rivers. Highlights include the Palacio del Marqués de Quintanar and the "Agejas" hermitage. In the village, it is worth mentioning the recently renovated church (from the 12th century and representative of the Romanesque style of Pirón), and the two artisan centers, notable both for their workshops (wood, glass, silver, ceramics...) and for their traditional construction. The artisan center "Las Caravas", in Cabañas de Polendos, is an example of the recovery of popular architecture: the old stables have become artisan workshops, which preserve traditional trades along with other innovative ones. Also noteworthy is its tranquility and its surroundings (meadows, centuries-old ash trees, a stream crossed by multiple types of trees...) that lend themselves to contact with nature and invite activities such as hiking, cycling or horseback riding. In the village there is also a restaurant "El Tuerto de Pirón" where you can eat very well and another bar. There is also a cocktail bar that gives concerts at night on weekends. The village is part of the Pirón Romanesque Route and the Crafts Route. In its surroundings there are places of great beauty, such as the Polendos Valley, the Quintanar Mountains and the Polendos River.
