Newly renovated Nordland house on a small farm in Nordland. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet with amazing mountains, chickens in the yard and horses in the field. We have NORTHERN LIGHTS on clear winter nights (from September to March) and normally a lot of snow in winter! The house is centrally located about 1 km from the store/train and bus/dining place, but at the same time there are countless hiking areas both on foot and on skis in the nearby area. We have horses, pigs, chickens, dogs and cats on the farm. We also grow some vegetables. In the area there are very good hiking opportunities both in the mountains, near the sea and in the forest. Quiet and peaceful but close to shops, bistro and public transport to Bodø. Guest access Guests can use the patio for dining or to watch the view and our animals. The house is at the end of a road right up to the wilderness with nice hiking opportunities where there are mushrooms, berries and own gapahuk. We have a lot of northern lights, little light pollution and normally a lot of snow in the winter. In summer, you can experience direct sunlight until 10:30 pm and light all night (midnight sun). Other things to note In Valnesfjord it is cold in winter, this usually gives good skiing conditions and when it is clear we have a lot of northern lights that you can see well from the property as there is minimal light pollution. The house has wood burning and a very cozy atmosphere in the old style. There are good hiking conditions in the area, both national parks, mountain hikes and fishing opportunities. Shops/Dining area/center are 1.5 km from the house. There you can also take trains and buses to Bodø just 40 minutes away.
