Swallow Field Glamping site is situated in the heart of the countryside amongst the rolling hills and wooded valleys. This perfect railway carriage getaway with shared amenities is positioned alongside the lake with stunning views, take a chance to relax and listen to the peaceful sound of the bird song in your own private garden. Dogs also allowed!(maximum of 2) *This railway carriage has no toilet but the shared toilet block and shower cubicle is a very short walk away. The space The Station master is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Inside you will find a very large space including a kitchen, sitting room, dinning table and double bed. The double doors open out onto your own private garden and seating area as well as a BBQ table and disposable BBQ. With no Wi-Fi or tv this is the perfect space to unwind and get away from the stress of busy life and help you to recharge. There are 2 pubs both serving excellent food around 2 miles way the Winyards Gap is a 5 minute drive and the Fox Inn is an 8 minute drive. The local village shop is also around 2.5 miles away (7 minute drive). Halstock is a great place to explore by foot with many foot paths for you and your dog to enjoy. We would recommend Bracketts Coppice, this has 100 acres of ancient woodland with beautiful meadows and streams in the woodland which is looked after by the Dorset wildlife trust. Other things to note *this railway carriage has no toilet but the shared toilet and shower cubicle block is a very short walk away.
