Modern Renovated Home with Serene Garden Oasis

Bring the whole family to this furnished home in the best part of Pasadena, close to the Langham hotel, one mile south of Caltech. There's a sizable great room with open kitchen and large island. Large backyard with avocado and fruit trees, and private garden areas. The space We are subletting our house while away. Kitchen and bath items (and some toys, if needed) will be available for use. The house has an open floor plan with a very large great room / kitchen combination with high ceilings. The great room has dining table, TV, piano, leather sofas. The kitchen has a high-end Miele range and oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and blender. The large kitchen island has three chairs for sitting. There is a small powder room. One side of the great room has wall-to-wall sliding doors that open wide to the spacious backyard. Behind the large tree there is private path through a shaded walkway. Some kid play items (an airplane see-saw!) are in the backyard and can be used. There are three available bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and a small desk and a large window looking out towards the front yard. Another bedroom has a toddler bed and a queen mattress. There are French doors that lead to a private patio. Nearby is a full bathroom with large tub/shower. Off the kitchen there is a playroom. It has a sofa that pulls out to a queen size bed. We have a mattress to put on top if you use it that way. Adjacent to this room is a small private bathroom with shower. Use of an adjacent office is negotiable. Guest access Most of the main house will be accessible, except for our master bedroom and the office (unless negotiated). The parts accessible include the great room / kitchen, 2 bedrooms (each with queen bed), a playroom (with sofa that pulls out to a queen size bed and mattress topper), 2.5 bathrooms (one with bath, and one with shower). Other things to note Next to the kitchen there is a laundry room with washer and dryer. That space is shared with our friend Kate who lives in the guest house behind the garage; she will manage the house while we are away. (There are no shared walls between the main house and the guest house.) She has our 2 cats who may enter the laundry room for food, but also have access to an outside catio and her guest house.
