Hillside Hideaways Shepherd Hut & Hot Tub (Plum)

The Plum Hut offers guests the opportunity to stay in a cosy, rustic shepherds hut with a electric hot tub and wood burning stove. Plum Hut is situated in a old apple orchard nestled under a few Plum and Apple trees over looking a quintessential stream valley, the perfect place to relax and unwind while watching our sheep! Being located in the English riviera there is so much to see and do! We are less than 2 miles to local beach’s and coves, Paignton zoo is also less than mile from the hut. The space The Plum hut has a hot tub for the ultimate in relaxation and for the cooler months a cosy log burner and central heating. We also have a fire pit and BBQ outside to enjoy! Your private self contained bathroom has fresh hot water including a shower, sink and mains toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a toaster, kettle, fridge with a small freezer compartment, microwave, single hob and Belfast sink. We also have A TV and wifi for a cosy night in. The hot tub will be piping hot for you on arrival, you will also have sole unlimited use for the whole stay! Our hot tub is also electric so is always hot and ready to go! Most wooden hot tubs you have to wait for it to heat up which can take 2-3 hours each time you use the tub!. We also provide a comprehensive welcome pack which includes, shampoo, body wash, tea, coffee, fresh milk, a basket of kiln dried logs, firelighters and kindling. More can be purchased at cost. Guest access Guests can walk around the apple orchard and down to the stream and pond. Other things to note We also have a second shepherd hut positioned about 20-25 meters away - both huts are very private and separated by natural screening (trees/fencing). We can arrange for early check-in / or late check-out for an additional charge of £20 - please message us after confirmation of booking / during your stay with us. We can arrange for the hut to be decorated for special occasions, romantic nights away, anniversary, birthday etc. Flowers, Rose Petals, Bunting, drinks to meet your exact requirements for an additional fee. Please message us after confirmation of booking / during your stay with us. Dogs are very welcome! but please do not leave dogs unattended, the huts are wooden and can get hot when the sun shines. In addition, we have chickens and sheep (fenced) and other guests who may not be bringing or like dogs therefore we ask you retain control of your dog at all times. If you do book VERY last minute on the same day then please note, unlike many other holiday venues with hot tubs, we "fresh" fill our hot tubs which means no-one else has been in it - for every visitor and in colder months this means the hot tubs will take up to 10 hours from cold to heat up to 38 degrees. We will start asap to fill but it could be that the first night you stay, the hot tub is not up to temperature. Whilst we are not able to exclude any bookings if you have an infant, we do not feel that our luxury shepherd huts are suitable for couples with a toddler due to the depth of the hot tubs and the open log burners.
