Situated on Duikersdrift Winelands Country Escape, a working boutique wine and olive farm situated in the heart of Tulbagh’s Valley of Abundance, our self-catering Family Cottages are an idyllic setting in which to experience a romantic getaway or family vacation. The space Our four elegantly styled farm cottages offer a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities, perfectly encapsulating the rich history of the Valley. The Family Cottages include a plush king bed, an alcove with two extra-length single beds, seating areas, a kitchenette, and an open-plan ensuite bathroom with a rain shower and bathtub. Air-conditioning with heating and cooling options, a remote controlled fan, and a cosy enclosed indoor fireplace ensure total comfort in hot summers and cold winters. A battery backup ensures that cottage lights stay on during load shedding and unexpected power outages. Outside, a private patio with a fireplace and wood fired hot tub provides a relaxing vantage point from which to enjoy the sunset over the mountains, take in the sounds of the prolific birdlife, or gaze at the canopy of stars. From the patio, head down the path to our secluded guest pool area with pergolas and pool loungers, or visit the onsite restaurant for a delicious lunch or dinner. A jungle gym, on-site restaurant, 9 resident donkeys, walking and biking trails, Saturday Parkrun, and a dam for catch and release fishing are sure to keep the whole family entertained. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cottage and private patio. Shared spaces include the pool area, restaurant, playground, and the rest of the farm which can be explored by bike or on foot.
