Morning Tide Waterfront Cottage

Morning Tide is a two bedroom log home overlooking the Northumberland Strait offering guests a stunning waterfront view in a setting we have fondly referred to as "paradise." Come and enjoy exploring miles and miles of beach, and watching the shoreline for the majestic blue heron, sometimes an eagle, or even seals sunning themselves on the sandbars! Inevitably, all will enjoy listening to the peaceful sound of the sea rolling gently against the red Island shore! The space We are excited to welcome guests to our 2 storey cottage (bedrooms upstairs and bathroom downstairs.). We hope you find it to be a place where you can rest, unwind and get away from the busyness of life. Mornings can be an amazing time to enjoy the serenity of the cottage, sitting out on the spacious deck with a cup of coffee or your favorite drink. Later in the day you might enjoy some time wandering and exploring the private beach just a short walk away. For a rainy day, we have provided some of our favorite board and card games or…of course you can always snuggle up in a chair to read a good book you have tucked in your suitcase. Within a 15 -20 minute drive from Morning Tide you can purchase fresh seafood at Treena's Take Out, enjoy U-Pick Strawberry and Raspberry patches, enjoy some baked goods at Country Taste Kitchen and Bakery, play nine holes of golf at Belfast Highland Greens, take a drive through historic Jack’s Road, dating back to the 1900’s, tour the Point Prim Lighthouse, enjoy an outstanding meal at the Point Prim Chowder House and Oyster Bar, catch the ferry to Nova Scotia, see a pottery work in progress at Koleszar Pottery, shop for yarn at Fleece and Harmony, or purchase groceries and liquor at Coopers General Store. Outside the 15-20 minute driving radius you can visit the town of Montague 25 minutes away or the Island’s capital city, Charlottetown which is a 35 minute drive with an endless list of accessible summer memory making activities! So…at Morning Tide you can enjoy a peaceful holiday, in a beautiful secluded waterfront setting and if you desire, easily take in the sights and sounds of the Island’s largest city. No matter where you travel from our cottage, you will be able to enjoy the renowned beauty of Prince Edward Island.
