Take a moment to rejuvenate in the natural cedar hot tub. Delight in watching the horses frolic in the lush meadows. Or engage in some old-fashioned fun catching frogs in the sprawling green lawns. Over 100 shade trees, private river with swimming hole, and no check out chores. The space This charming original trailer has cozy ambiance with warm, honey-colored wood paneling throughout. Arrive and step up to an expansive DECK with Moroccan tile table for outside dining, gas griddle and comfortable chairs to enjoy the sunset or count the stars. Enjoy the mirrored surface of the polished restored aluminum trailer with two doors. The door on the right is to the living room and KITCHENETTE, perfect for reheating leftovers or preparing a quick sandwich (please note there's no gas stove). This intimate space has a small table with two chairs and a twin bed that doubles as a sofa, ideal for immersing yourself in a good book. the air conditioning unit is here in the ceiling. The space is compact and there are windows everywhere looking out at views to pink mountains and the lush lawns. Past the original pink fridge and kitchen sink, you'll find a narrow paneled hallway. A pocket door leads to a compact BATHROOM equipped with a shower and the coziest of bathtubs. The BEDROOM has a comfortable queen bed and a petite closet. Windows on all sides gaze out at the ranch, enveloped in the lush shade of towering trees, with a captivating views of the horse pastures and Powers peak just past the town of Kernville. A door from the bedroom leads back outside to the large wood deck. This is the perfect spot to soak up the evening air after a day of hiking or rafting. The charming town of Kernville, just a short walk away. It's a picturesque setting for a relaxing getaway. Guest access You have complete and private access to all interior areas photographed. You are welcome to explore the fenced grounds of Kernville Ranch. Take a soothing dip in our all-natural cedar hot tub, plunge into our private river and swimming hole (Runs seasonally April through December), say hi to our horses or experience the thrill of the zip line. The ranch spans about 15 acres, featuring three available listings. This is the Shiny Spartan listing. Mountain View is the original log cabin built in the 1890’s. Meadowlands Cottage is a one bedroom wing attached to main house. Both of these listings can be rented separately. For larger groups, consider renting the entire ranch. We encourage guests to connect with fellow vacationers. While exploring our ranch please exercise caution and common sense. These areas contain tractors and farm equipment essential for ranch operations. Other things to note The magic of our property may reveal itself in unexpected ways. Perhaps a herd of deer will grace you with their presence as you witness the sunset over the water meadows. Or your children may frolic through the mint field, their hands cradling a new found frog. Nature and wildlife will undoubtedly make their presence known during your stay. Please note that there is no stove inside, there is a propane griddle outside. My husband and I are thrilled to share Kernville Ranch's enchantment with you. Our approach is a delicate one – we renovated the house and its surroundings to offer families a comfortable and enjoyable experience while safeguarding the historical charm of the Ranch, where wildlife thrives. Kernville Ranch is home to several retired horses, a gentle river flows through our land. Abundant water keeps our grounds lush and green. Above the river we have expansive lawns and towering shade trees, providing a welcome respite from the heat. Separated by the babbling brook that meanders through the property (Runs seasonally April through December), the remainder of the ranch opens into flood meadows where retired horses roam freely. Ducks, herons, and ospreys grace our skies, painting a picturesque scene against the backdrop of pink-hued mountains. It truly is a place of remarkable beauty.
