Welcome to our cozy, newly renovated apartment on the first floor of our house. Our spacious, barrier-free apartment offers 2 bedrooms, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. One bathroom is handicapped accessible, the other has an infrared heat cabin for 2 people. The village of Hofweiler is very quietly located between Trier (20 minutes by car) and Bitburg (15 minutes) - ideal for exploring both the Eifel-Moselle region and Luxembourg. The space Our house has a story to tell: The historic 18th-century architectural style, carefully restored furniture, and modern amenities create a special atmosphere that is clearly different from an ordinary vacation rental. Whether you are planning an active vacation in nature, want to explore the region, or simply wish to spend a few quiet days away, we look forward to welcoming you to Hofweiler! The rooms at a glance: Bedroom 1: Cozy bedroom with a large double bed. Bedroom 2: Equipped with an Italian bed and a large TV with a Fire TV Stick. Living room: Inviting living area for relaxing with a big TV, Fire TV Stick and a pull-out sofa bed for extra guests. Dining room: Separate dining area with space for shared meals and cozy evenings. Kitchen: Fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. Bathroom 1: Bathroom equipped to be accessible for people with disabilities. Bathroom 2: A special highlight is the infrared heat cabin for two people – ideal for relaxing after a day of adventure. Guest access Garden & outdoor area – relax in the open air There is also plenty of space to feel good in the outdoor area! Right behind the house, a cozy outdoor seating area invites you to start the day with breakfast in the fresh air, take a relaxing coffee break or end the evening in a cozy atmosphere. A special highlight is our pallet lounge in the garden. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the tranquility here, have a barbecue together, or simply relax with a good book. The garden and seating areas are available for our guests to share. Whether after a long hike, a trip around the region or just in between – here you will find a nice place to relax and enjoy yourself. Other things to note Experience nature – discover the Eifel, the Moselle and Luxembourg Hofweiler is a small, peaceful village in the midst of a varied landscape and an ideal starting point for numerous activities. The sprawling Meulenwald forest, with its dense network of forest and hiking trails, starts right here. A paradise for nature lovers, hikers and mountain bikers! As an avid connoisseur of the area, I am happy to give you personal tips for beautiful hikes, bike rides and worthwhile places to visit. The cities in the region are also easy to reach: Trier: about 20 minutes by car – Germany's oldest city with numerous Roman attractions. Bitburg: about 15 minutes by car. Luxembourg: Ideal for day trips to the neighboring Grand Duchy. The nearby Luxembourg Little Switzerland, with the impressive Müllerthal valley and its bizarre rock formations, also invites you to enjoy unforgettable hikes and outings. Moselle region: Discover picturesque wine villages, beautiful landscapes, and cozy restaurants.
