As part of your stay, you'll receive a complimentary allocation of provisions, like s’mores, coffee and more.* The space Nestled along the Coosa River in Childersburg, AL, Postcard Cabins Talladega Valley features rolling hills, seasonal wetlands, and well-appointed, secluded cabins with riverfront and ridge-top views — just 2.5 hours from Atlanta + 1 hour from Birmingham. While at our location, you can immerse yourself in nature along our scenic 2-mile trail, or take a day trip to the Majestic Caverns, a stunning series of caves found in the Appalachian Mountain foothills. Designed with a large picture window into nature, this cabin features queen bunks with fresh linens—ideal for families with small children; a well-equipped kitchenette with stove, mini-fridge and cooking utensils; an en-suite bathroom with hot shower and fresh towels, a private outdoor space complete with fire pit, adirondack chairs and picnic table (perfect for campfire cookouts or just chatting under the stars), plus onsite trails so nature is always in reach. We have multiple cabins at this location: your view, layout and design may vary slightly from the one shown. Can I bring my pet along? We love all furry friends, but only dogs are permitted in the cabins. You can bring yours along for an additional fee of $50. Be sure to stay with your dog at all times, keep them on a leash when outdoors, and always clean up after them. We ask that you do not leave them inside the tiny house alone if you leave the area. All dog waste must be cleaned up. Lost and Found We understand things get left behind; however, Postcard Cabins is not responsible for lost or stolen items left on property. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure all personal belongings are collected upon check-out.
