The Serenity farmhouse (ADA Accessible) sits a top a hill overlooking "El Yunque" (the only U.S. rainforest) as it's backdrop. This metal rooftop wooden house sits in half acre land. The road leading you to your house greets you with a canopy of flamboyan trees known for it's beautiful red flowers and it's amazing shade. The Serenity is a 5 to 20 minute drive to malls, markets, beaches and pool. The space The Serenity farmhouse is the best getaway for those who yearn to unplug from the hustle and the bustle of their busy lives. The Serenity offers you the opportunity to unplug, calmness, tranquility, peace, and yes...s-e-r-e-n-i-t-y. Here is where, nature, birds singing, leaves from the palm trees, ferns, and all the greenery meet with the cool winds to dance a "bolero". If you need to recharge and regenerate The Serenity will receive you with welcoming arms. As soon as you arrive and your sight locks into the panorama, you will breath a sigh of relief, and joy. Immediately you will know, The Serenity was a good choice to enjoy and unwind. NATURE: Don't be startled when you see the Pitirre (Gray King bird), the iguanas, hawks up in the sky, roosters singing, insects of all sorts, the coquí (Eleutherodactylus coqui) is a species of frog endemic to Puerto Rico, horses, sheep's and goats sounds. You are, afterall, nestled in with nature. Why share The Serenity with you? My husband and I love this place and stay here every chance we can. We decided to share The Serenity knowing there are many folks just like us, living busy lives, needing to unwind and just wanting, if for a brief moment to unplug and "living the simple life". Guest access Guests of The Serenity have full access to every space within the property. Open the pantry, there you will find the Breville juicer, blender, Cuisinart grill, and more for you to use. Feel free to open the closets, with linens, rollaway bed, inflatable mattresses, blower, iron and more. The outdoor areas, outdoor shower, sink, cement grilling space, coolers, beach towels, flask if you want to take "cafe con leche" with you, folding camping chairs, all are for YOUR use. Laundry, washer only, here life is simple, we air dry. Laundry soap is available. Other things to note A vehicle is a must, as this is a remote location. However, we are 5-20 minutes away from supermarkets, farmers markets, fleamarkets, malls, ice cream parlors, public pool, beaches, movie theaters, and restaurants with delicious food.
