The large weeping willow overlooks the still, sparking water of the natural pond. Sit at the end at the end of the jetty, dangle your feet in the refreshing water and take time to watch the wildlife busy itself around you. The upper garden provides a relaxing lawn and growing fruit trees set within historic and beautifully restored Sussex flint walls. Wake up to the melody of the birdsong in the surrounding trees, watch out for kestrels and buzzards flying overhead and go to bed listening to the hooting of the local owls. It is paradise for nature lovers or anyone looking to experience a soothing and unique outdoor space. Guest access Due to the historic nature of the building and the building layout, The Byre has poor accessibility. Other things to note 1. The Byre is strictly non-smoking including the gardens. 2. There is strictly no swimming in the garden pond. The pond is very deep, please supervise children at all times. 3. Please note, check-in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check-out is 10am on the day of departure. 4. The Byre is situated in a small Hamlet with surrounding neighbours, we respectfully request no parties and no loud music. 5. Please do not light fires or use fireworks in the garden. 6. Littering is not acceptable, please use the rubbish bins and recycle your waste in the recycling bins provided. 7.
