Welcome to our stylish and cozy 3 bedroom apartment located in Palmas del Mar. This retreat is perfect for a friend or family vacation looking to relax and enjoy in beach and pool. It has 2.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a living room ideal to relax and bond with your companions. Step outside onto the charming patio to enjoy the fresh air and peaceful surroundings. This condo unit is located in beautiful Palmas del Mar in Humacao, a small community on the outskirts of San Juan. It is surrounded by a wonderful community, upscale beach condos, and miles of beautiful beach, and it’s just a few minutes away from several local restaurants, beach bars, pharmacies, and mini-marts. Major supermarkets, outlet malls, and fast food joints are a 5-10 minute drive from the community. The condo is equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, air conditioners in every room, internet access, and a SmartTV with Netflix in the living room. There's no cable in the unit but the internet works perfectly. A big plus is that we have a washer/dryer in the apartment for our guests to use. Guests have access to all of the resort amenities in the condo complex, including several pools (5), tennis courts, clubhouse, and kids swings. Master bedroom: Private bathroom for your ultimate convenience and comfort. It includes: bathtub, shower, toilette and bidet. Queen bed. Balcony access. 2nd bedroom: Comfortable queen bed that fit 2 adults. 3rd bedroom: comfortable full bed perfect for 1-2 adults, or 2 kids. Bathroom: a full bathroom for the bed room 2 and 3 to share. Bathroom: a half bathroom perfect for guests. Kitchen: Island with tall stools so families can chat over breakfast. Fully equipped with utensils, plus, an oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. Beautiful balcony view from the kitchen. We provide basic toiletries such as toilet paper, towel paper, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. If there’s something extra that you need, we encourage you to bring your own. We are very proud of the high standard of security in this condo complex, which makes it one of the top family-friendly places in the area. The entire complex is gated, and all residents/visitors must be identified at the guardhouse to enter. There are 2 assigned parking spaces per unit- so whether you rent one large van or several couples rent their own cars, you'll always find your own parking space. The unit is located on a FIRST FLOOR. UNIT 11-A Must go down a set of stairs. One of the conveniences we have is that you won't need a key. Once you check in into the unit, we are always available by phone to help with any questions and if there is an issue that needs attention at the condo, we can make arrangements for any maintenance needed. When you leave, you can leave appliances off, so you can go directly to the airport on your way home. There are several supermarkets between the airport and Palmas del Mar, but the most convenient is the 24/7 Walmart Supercenter. There is also a mini-mart in Palmanova complex. Renting your own car is highly recommended. Nonetheless, if you don't rent a car, there is a flat-rate taxi fare from the airport to Humacao of $100-130 (subject to increase without notice - so check before you get into the taxi). There can be small surcharges for extra luggage or nighttime service from 10 pm - 6 am tolls or more than 5 passengers. If you have any questions, ask the taxi dispatcher who will give you a receipt for the fixed price of the trip before you get into the cab. Tipping is at your discretion but is normally about 10%. Unfortunately Uber rarely works in the island this is why we highly recommend renting a car. Check-in: 4:00 pm Check out: 11:00 am To enter the complex, there is a telentry and to entery the apartment, there is a smart lock. The instructions to check-in are available to you once you have booked. If you are checking in AFTER 9pm please notify beforehand so the host is aware and available if questions come up. Before check-in time, the gust must provide the names of the people staying in the apartment to register them in the apartment and for pool access. Natalia, our manager, is available through the airbnb app. She can point you to restaurants, activities to do, and much more. Don't hesitate to ask her for tips and recommendations during your stay. If not, we wil get back to you the next morning. DISCLAIMER regarding electricity and water In September 2017 Puerto Rico was directly hit by Hurricane Maria. Unfortunately, our power grid has suffered significant damage after the hurricane and over the years. Power and water outages are extremely common on the island and may last from a few minutes to a few hours. Sometimes the power goes once a week or sometimes once a month, it’s completely out of our control. ISLA Prime Property Management will not pay for a hotel, vacation rental, or transportation expenses incurred because of an interruption of water or electrical services. If water or electricity is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests have the option of canceling their reservation and requesting a refund for the nights not used. Under no circumstances we will refund consumed nights. By booking this unit, we understand that you read our listing descriptions and are aware of the situation. Additional information This listing accomodates 6 people. It is not permitted for more 6 adults to be in the apartment. If you reserved for 6 or less people, but more come, you will have to pay a fine of $50 per person. Names of guests should be notified before your arrival to register for pool and complex access.
