At the Moulin Mazaud

Looking for a short break or an extended vacation, we offer an authentic place in an 18th century mill and its 3.7 hectares. You will discover a wild setting crossed by its rivers (stream and mill race), permaculture garden, orchard, chicken coop, large meadows where we have sheep, forest area... From this site, small or large walks will take you to the heart of the Monts d'Ambazac and its highest point, the Puy de Sauvagnac at 702 meters above sea level. The space The single-story cottage is designed for 4 people and can accommodate up to 7 people (additional costs from 5 people). It includes an entrance with a small airlock serving as a cloakroom overlooking a large fully equipped kitchen with glass-ceramic hob, oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster... Separate toilet, bathroom with shower, towel dryer, hairdryer and washing machine. A hallway serving two bedrooms and a large living room overlooking a corridor to reach a terrace overlooking the stream. The living room has large sofas (including a sofa bed for two people), a TV, games, books... The first bedroom has a double bed, the second two single beds and a third bed in the drawer that can be raised to the level of the other two beds. The terrace has a garden table and 4 chairs, sun loungers and a gas barbecue. It also has a shelter where you can set the table. Possibility of having a travel crib (sheets and blankets can be provided), a scalable high chair ranging from newborn to 3-4 year old and a changing table with mattress. Linens are included (not towels) and two dish towels. The cleaning must be done at the exit (cleaning products available). Pets are allowed (max 2 depending on the breed: 2 small dogs or 1 medium dog). Please note that there is no Wi-Fi in the cottage but the 4G/5G network works. e. Guest access You have the entire place to yourself. In addition, you can stroll on our land, in our garden, in our orchard, by the stream... Other things to note Living on site, we welcome you to this independent gîte. We will be available, if necessary, and will be happy to introduce you to our living space and our projects to safeguard local heritage. Located on the outskirts of the village of Ambazac, you will find all shops and amenities within 5 minutes and within walking distance. Downtown Limoges is 20 minutes away. The mill is at the end of the road, there is no traffic in front of the cottage and the place is very quiet.
