Spruce Fork Cottage is a cozy cabin using some solar energy and also backed by generator in case of a power outage! It is the prefect getaway for up to four guests. The Cottage is less than 20 minutes to Asheville & 15 to Black Mountain. We have hiking close by and quick access to the Blue Ridge Parkway! If you're looking for the quintessential cabin in the woods, with charm and seclusion, while still being close to everything Asheville has to offer, Spruce Fork Cottage is just for you! The space Upon booking your stay, we ask that you take a moment to tell us what brings you to the area. If you're celebrating any special occasions, we'd love to hear about that as well. Please be sure to submit your request with the correct number of guests as well! We DO NOT allow any parties and have a zero tolerance policy for destructive or disruptive behavior by guests. We are happy to welcome families, friends, and individuals who are eager to explore, relax, disconnect, and enjoy all that our area has to offer! Please note that the fireplace gas logs are turned off during warm months. We do have the property supplied by generator power (fridge, main living room light, running water, and heat blower fan) in case power goes out. The Cottage Surroundings are quiet with nice mountain views from the front porch. The Cottage is in a cove with woods behind it and beautiful sunsets to experience, especially in the winter when the leaves are off the trees. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the surrounding grounds. Other things to note Washing machine and dryer with he (high efficiency) detergent included and should be used in the washer. Instructions for use are posted on the washer. Be sure to turn on the water as instructed before starting the washer. There are no fees for using these appliances.
