Welcome to Friendly Manitoba and our newly constructed 1144 sq ft cottage located in the heart of Matlock Manitoba on Beach Ave. Your future vacation destination has all the amenities of the modern home that you could need. We have no doubt that your accommodations will exceed your expectations and will be a great place to make those lasting memories for years to come. I will do my best to describe what you can expect but if you have any questions please feel free to message me. The Details.... Location: Your cottage is situated about 200 yards from the main beach in Matlock, (Milne Beach). The beach is located directly at the start of Beach Ave and is an easy walk for all ages. If your staying with us in the summer grab your coolers, chairs and beach towels for a short walk to the main beach. It's super handy for running back and forth, a small wagon is always good to help transport more than an arms full! If you're staying with us in the winter chasing the legendary Manitoba Green Backs then this is a great location. No need to trailer your Snow Bear, ATV, or snowmobile as the lake access at the main beach is close by. The front 4 season room is a great transition area to store your gear and dry out anything so you are ready to go for the next early morning. Newly installed washer and dryer can also help with this. Cottage Layout: Your cottage has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, open concept living room/kitchen, large back deck, and a 4 season sunroom. Bedrooms: 1 King Bed, 1 Queen Bed, 2 bunk beds (1 double w/single, 1 w/2 singles) Sleeps 6 but can accommodate a few extra if needed. Please let your host know if more that 6 are planning on staying. Amenities: All of the common stuff in a home, appliances(fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, washer/dryer, crockpot, BBQ, etc.) Flat screen Smart TV with Streaming, Fibre Internet with WiFi, surround sound, endless hot water. Beautifully landscaped with firepit and green space with ample parking. Guest access Guests are free to reach out at any time by phone or txt for any questions or concerns, before during or after their stay. Once a booking is confirmed and approximately 48 hours before your scheduled check-in, you will be sent a 4 digit door key code that will be used for the remainder of your stay. Other things to note Basics are included towels, bedding, toiletries, kitchen soaps and laundry supplies. If you have specific sensitivities its best to bring your own supplies.
