Only hot tub heating is available at $50/day. ◆ Heats up to a maximum of 87°F, and the spa reaches up to 104°F. Guests can control the spa heating upon arrival for their comfort ◆ Sun shelf with umbrella slot for shaded lounging and shallow kid play ◆ Built-in seat in the deepest part of the pool—great for relaxing in the water or using as an easy step out after a swim. Other things to note THE POOL HAS NO SAFETY FENCING. NO DIVING ALLOWED. We are family friendly but not fully kid safe. We have no safety gate surrounding the pool, steps in the backyard, a gas fire pit, electrical cords, and electrical outlets. Floaties are considered personal items and are not provided. Occasionally, previous guests may leave floaties behind—you're welcome to use them at your own discretion and risk. All guests must be good swimmers and must acknowledge the risks at time of booking. Children and pets should never be left unattended. Swim at your own risk and never swim alone. If you are sick, pregnant, or have a health issues, we ask that you do not use the pool or hot tub as safety is our primary concern. Serious injury, spinal cord damage, or death may occur from diving. No diving allowed. By renting our home or being a guest of the renter you absolve us, the owners, of liability due to injury or death. YARD & POOL MAINTENANCE & DESERT WEATHER Our gardener visits once a week to keep the outdoor areas looking their best. The pool is professionally cleaned twice a week on alternating weekdays (Monday–Friday), usually in the morning. While desert weather is usually sunny and clear, occasional wind gusts can stir up dust or debris. We schedule extra cleanings after major windstorms, but you may still notice some leaves or sand at times. A pool skimmer is available for your use, and if anything needs attention, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible! Guest access You are free to enjoy everything that house has to offer inside and outside except the closet in the hallway which is used by housekeeping for supplies. Other things to note POOL SAFETY INFORMATIION ◆ Please note that our pool does not have a safety fence and diving is strictly prohibited. ◆ While we welcome families, our property is not fully childproof. There is no safety gate around the pool, and the backyard includes features such as steps, a gas fire pit, electrical cords, and outlets. ◆ Floatation devices (floaties) are considered personal items and are not provided. Occasionally, guests may leave floaties behind—you are welcome to use them at your own discretion and risk. ◆ All guests should be confident swimmers and acknowledge the potential risks when booking. Children and pets must be supervised at all times. Swimming is at your own risk, and never swim alone. ◆ If you are ill, pregnant, or have any health concerns, we advise not using the pool or hot tub, as your safety is our top priority. ◆ No diving is allowed under any circumstances. Diving may result in serious injury, including spinal cord damage or death. By staying at our home, you acknowledge and accept these conditions and release the homeowners from liability for any injury or accident, including death, that may occur during your stay. PET POLICY ◆ Dogs welcome! $150 flat pet fee applies for a small, non-aggressive, house-trained dog under 15 lbs. Maximum of 2 dogs. No other pets allowed. ◆ Dog(s) are not allowed in the pool as pet hair clogs the filters ◆ Dog(s) are not allowed on the furniture or in beds SECURITY ◆ 1 audio/video security camera in the property located in the front yard- it is monitoring the front of the garage. NOISE MONITORING ◆ 1 noise monitor in the backyard and 1 in the living room, which is required by City of Desert Hot Springs. It is monitoring noise decibels only and is NOT recording video or audio. NOISE ORDINANCE: All Desert Cities in Riverside County have strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals.Music is allowed outside until 10:00 PM. Small portable speakers are permitted; however, large speakers, DJ equipment, and karaoke machines are not allowed outdoors Guest is responsible for any fines, citations or penalties imposed against the property owner for actions triggering a violation of the City of Desert Hot Springs. Such examples can be found in our House Rules. All Credit card fees are not refundable if the reservation is canceled (DOES NOT apply to Airbnb bookings). Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. By booking this home, you acknowledge and give your permission for the pool and/or hot tub to be serviced twice a week by our pool maintenance team, and for the gardener to access the backyard once a week for routine maintenance.
