Kick back and relax – in this quiet, stylishly furnished accommodation, for example, after an excursion, in the middle of the Palatinate hiking area, you can make yourself comfortable in our lovingly and well-equipped Elw.! The property is 2 minutes from the forest in a garden-surrounded detached house with separate entrance. There is a beautiful garden area with garden furniture. The outskirts of Kaiserslautern and the university can be reached in a maximum of 10 minutes by car. The space The granny apartment is about 48 m² and a room to which an extra bathroom is connected. There is a very well-equipped kitchen where you can cook very well. The apartment is in the basement and its separate entrance can be reached via a staircase from the carport. There, a car can be parked directly under cover. The accommodation is well maintained, clean and tastefully decorated to make our guests feel particularly comfortable! In summer the house is nice and cool and in winter very cozy! Guest access A piece of garden that is available only to guests can be reached via the front of the house. There is some garden furniture there so you can make yourself very comfortable. The table is large enough to have breakfast there and enjoy the morning sun. Since there is little traffic in the street, you can listen to the birds and, for example, enjoy the evening in peace. There are also some games available. (iPong mini table tennis table, boules, badminton, frisbee) Smoking is not allowed in the apartment but there is a covered smoking area right next to the entrance. For rentals longer than a week, I would like to enter the apartment at least once a week to check that everything is in order and, for example, to ventilate it. (…because unfortunately I have already had a bad experience) Of course, I would only go into the apartment by prior arrangement! Other things to note With a few steps you are in the middle of beautiful nature. At various points you can observe animals...sheep, alpacas, horses, happy chickens (from which you can also buy organic eggs) and cows can be found there. In 3 minutes by car or an approx. 20-minute hike, you are in the fairytale-like Karlstal, which is particularly known for its wildly romantic gorge as part of the Jakobsweg. On the way from the Karlstal Gorge to the Schweinstal with its imposing quarry, you will pass, among other things, the Café Unterhammer and the Naturfreundehaus Finsterbrunnertal. It's not just these places that invite you to linger! 100 meters away from the apartment is a quiet Greek restaurant. In the neighboring village of Trippstadt (3 km) there is a swimming pool and two natural lakes are also not far. The area here is also very popular with mountain bikers! One of the highlights is the bike park in the climatic health resort of Trippstadt. It can be reached by bike in about 20 minutes. Bikes can be parked here in the shed. There is also a sports field 2 minutes away, where a table tennis table and a basketball court are available. The city of Kaiserslautern can be reached in a quarter of an hour by bus or car. There is a recommended leisure pool (Monte Mare) that has a really beautiful wellness area. In addition, the Pfalztheater is worth mentioning, with its varied program! SHOPPING: The nearest supermarket, bakery and ATM is in the neighboring village of Trippstadt, 3 km away. Here in Stelzenberg you can only buy organic eggs and seasonal vegetables from the local farmers. There is also a particularly well-stocked Lidl at the exit, Kaiserslautern (Uni) towards Stelzenberg. That is, it is best to take care of the shopping before you arrive here!
