Come stay in our sunlit and fully restored 3 bedroom Colonial apartment in the historic center. You have a shared rooftop patio/bar with sweeping views of Habana Vieja and across Havana harbor while breakfasting. We have a lounge/breakfast area on the first floor. The apartment contains a large suite with a private balcony and private bathroom, and three more bedrooms each with their own private spacious bathrooms- designed for your comfort with original antiques for you ! FREE- WI-FI! The space Our Building has 3 levels plus the rooftop. You will have the entire third floor (The Daiquiri floor- named after our favorite cocktail). It is up two flights of stairs, but the views are worth the climb! Access to our rooftop terrace and bar above available to you, as well as our lounge area and coffee-shop on the ground floor- available to only to our guests in the three flats in our building. The roof is a beautiful space with spectacular views of all of Habana Vieja and accross the harbor to Fortaleza Cabana to enjoy. You can have breakfast there or late night drinks while you relax after a busy day. It can be staffed for you upon request. The apartment has four bedrooms furnished in original colonial antiques. The suite at the end of the hall has a large balcony that opens out to historic Calle Cuarteles and Loma del Angel (Angel hill) where they filmed "Fast and Furious 8". It has a Queen-size bed . The next bedroom has two twin beds also furnished colonial style. the Third bedroom has a queen bed, and the fourth bedroom is a mini-suite with seating area and a full bed. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. Every room in the apartment has modern AC units (silent, unlike traditional AC window units). We have been told the beds are extremely comfortable. The wiring and plumbing is new and we have fire alarms, safes for security, and mini-bars to keep the beer cold! We also offer water, beer, soda, juice and snacks for purchase in the mini-bar. Upon request, we offer an optional sensational traditional Cuban breakfast at the time of your choice for 9 euros per person. We ask that you order the evening before so we can have fresh ingredients for you. Guest access Los Balcones is rented to families or groups so that the flat is your own and not shared with others. The rooftop lounge and living room may be shared with our other guests in the building. Guests have complete access to the the sitting area on the ground floor and the beautiful rooftop terrace with sweeping views of Havana Vieja and the moro, perfect for an afternoon mojito watching the sunset. It is perfect for groups of families or friends who want a place to relax and enjoy each other’s company together in their own space, or regroup after exploring our amazing city. There is always one staff (no family members, and not on your floor) employed to buzz you into the building and help you with any requests or needs you may have. I will personally come by periodically to make sure you are enjoying your stay and to answer any questions you may have that the maids cannot answer. I also am available via the free house phone at all times and you can always call. You also have access to our wi-fi connection. In Cuba you need to purchase an access card for 2 or three CUC per hour to connect to our service. This way you can connect in our space, and not have to go to a park or hotel like everyone else. Laundry service is available to you. Lastly, you have access to our extensive contacts all over Cuba, for the best places to stay, eat and tour. We can arrange transportation to take you there ! Other things to note When you book with us, we will provide you with essential information on traveling to and throughout Cuba, and things to keep in mind during your stay! Some notables are Havana 61 (on our block) Chef Ivan Justo (2 blocks), Al Carbon (2 blocks away), Cinco Esquinas annd Antojos (one block away) and many others.
