Akkandi Veedu is a charming boutique stay in the heart of Kodaikanal, offering four cozy villas with contemporary interiors and park views. Just 10 mins from the lake, it invites you to enjoy peaceful strolls at Chettiar Park right across. Tariff includes a homestyle 2-course South Indian breakfast (tea/coffee extra). There are two car parkings; if occupied, guests can park in front where ample space is available. Note: water heaters work only on EB power; UPS supports lights & charging. Power Backup for Water Heaters: Bathroom water heaters (geysers) work only when regular EB (electric board) power is available. Our UPS backup supports only basic lighting and charging points. A Honda generator is available for powering the pressure pump, kitchen usage, and recharging the UPS — not for operating water heaters. Parking Facility: We have two basement parking slots shared among the four houses. If the basement slots are occupied, our caretaker will guide you to park safely along the street side, right in front of the house. Building Access: Lift facility is not available, as this is an old house thoughtfully renovated into a homestay. Access to the first and second floors is via a staircase only.
