The Stables @ Les Hirondelles - adults only(s)

Here at Les Hirondelles Gites, we cater exclusively for adults who want tranquility and to experience rural France. The Stables is a beautifully converted barn with polished wood floors, open beams and stone walls. It is set on two floors, the downstairs having a large shower room (double shower) and a huge open-plan living dining area. Upstairs a king-sized bed and twin room. Unfortunately it is not suitable for children. The space Awarded 4 Stars by our local tourist office, The Stables offers a grand space for visitors wanting to get away from it all and experience the real rural France. The gardens are well stocked and maintained and benefit from being fully-enclosed and secluded. You have your own private courtyard with bbq to the rear. Access to a 10m x 5 m south-facing, heated swimming pool. Again, this is fully-enclosed and is a real sun-trap. Guest access The pool is available for both gites on this site, The Stables and The Hayloft. If the other property is occupied at the same time as your visit, you will share the pool. However, it is plenty big enough ad there are sunbeds and parasols for everyone. Other things to note This property is not suitable for children. Therefore we market it for adults only. The price shown is for 2 guests. The Stables sleeps up to 4 persons and there is an additional nightly charge for 3rd and 4th guests. No pets. No smoking indoors. Certain suncreams have a detrimental effect on the pool liner. For this reason, we provide SPF30 and SPF50 suncreams for your use in the pool only. Should you wish to provide your own creams, they must be labelled ‘Ocean/Reef Safe’. Our preferred brands of cream are Biarritz, Avene, or SVR. All are readily available on the internet. We prohibit the use of P20 sunscreen, Piz Buin products, anything containing a self-tanner, and ‘bronzing oils’. This is not exhaustive and can be amended at any time if we find further products with the same effect. If in doubt, please ask.
