We invite you to experience the clean fresh air of the countryside, the Chautauqua Wine Trail, the beaches on Lake Erie's Barcelona Harbor and Chautauqua Lake, or visit an Amish community to experience how they have lived for 100s of years where you can shop for delicious baked goods, leather work, wood slabs, furniture, and even Amish medicine. Head further south and you can visit the historical Chautauqua Institute and perhaps catch a cultural event during their 9 week summer program. THE GROUNDS Walk the grounds, lay in a hammock, relax in a glider on the balcony, BBQ on our coal or gas grills, socialize or dine outside on the patio, deck, or Carriage house porch, or visit the gazebo where you can find yard games for the family such as bocce and corn hole. THE ROOM 2nd Floor Carriage House Suite (370 sq ft) with sitting area, private hot tub for 2, shower, balcony access, queen bed, TV, Roku, high-speed Wi-Fi, mini refrigerator, and coffee maker. Guests will have access to the Grounds, Front Deck, Patio, Carriage House Porch and Balcony, Exercise Room, Gazebo, as well as the Parlor and Library in the historical portion of the Inn. While we are working on restoration of the rest of the Inn - upon request - arrangements can be made for access to other areas of the house such as the dining room and kitchen depending on their renovation status and availability. Please feel to reach out if there are any special accommodations required, requests, or advice on exploring the area. We want you to relax and enjoy yourself, leave your troubles to us. No request is unreasonable, and we will do our best to honor them. We will take your lead on the level of interaction you would like. Situated 2.6 miles south of historic Westfield and Barcelona Harbor to explore excellent outdoor activities, history, culture, cuisine, fisheries, vineyards, the Amish community, and distilleries. Also located 3.7 miles to the south is Mayville where you can begin your adventures and relaxation around Chautauqua Lake. Car is the best way to get around and we can arrange for the use of a vehicle or tour guide for an additional fee We have partnerships with local restaurants for discounts and credits towards meals. Please inquire if you are interested. If you are interested in visiting the Amish community, we can provide a great deal of guidance and advice based on your particular interests.
