Lakeside Retreat in an Authentic Log Cabin

Located just 20 min from Town of Wolfville, you will love this cozy rustic log cabin with amazing water views and direct lake access. It is an ideal choice for the perfect getaway. The space There is shared parking with the host and the cabin is just a short walk down through a wooded trail. It can sleep three to four guests. The cabin features a loft with a double bed and a large futon that can be used as a bed for two guests. The cabin comes supplied with pillows and bed linens for the double bed. The cabin provides you with everything you will need to feel at home. Inside the rustic cabin is a fully equipped kitchen. This includes a propane range, a bar size refrigerator, a sink with hot and cold water, microwave, toaster, a single cup coffeemaker and all of the necessary utensils and cookware. Outside under the covered veranda, guest will find a BBQ (propane included) and outdoor seating. There is a private outdoor shower along with an outhouse. Both inside and outside, guests will find plenty of space to relax and socialize together. There is a dining table and wood stove, during the cooler months, to keep things cozy. Outside, there is a charming front porch with beautiful views of Black River Lake. The lake is great for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. Guests can feel free to paddle a canoe or use the rowboat. If you have your own boat, with or without motor, guest are welcome to use the host boat launch and wharf. Lifejackets are provided and guests will need to use caution as they are responsible for their own safety. Nature lovers can enjoy a peaceful afternoon of hiking or biking on the beautiful wilderness trails. With only 20 minutes from Town of Wolfville, if guests prefer not to cook there are plenty of great restaurants nearby.
