Description

Welcome to Marathon Shores, a spacious and inviting home in Seward. Conveniently located in town but also tucked away and private. Located on a cul-de-sac close to the Safeway grocery store and only minutes from downtown. Mount Marathon views from the front yard and set in a peaceful neighborhood. Plenty of relaxing and comfortable space across 3 bedrooms and cozy living room. Alaskan art and decor throughout. More recreation area in the secluded backyard with a firepit, yard games, and seating. The space The home was built in 1980 and features the original wood ceilings and walls throughout. For guests that haven't stayed in an older log home before, you may notice a slight woody scent upon entering. Guest access Front door access is from the home's front staircase via key code. We occupy the downstairs (which is completely separated and we use a different door) so it's not included in the rental space. Access to the garage is also not included. The only shared space is the front and back yard. We mostly keep to ourselves to give our guests privacy, but you may still see us and our children outside.
