Ring the bell at 4 pm to call all the horses in to feed. Climb into the Cowgirl “hot tub” with 4’ unicorn sprinkling water for those warm days & nights. It is usually available to cool off. There are self-guided, or guided hikes looking at nature, for wildlife and fossils by Buffalo Creek. Tips are accepted by friendly and knowledgeable staff for additional experiences. Guests can access the travel trailer, their enclosed area for their pet attached to the trailer, the grill, outside, seating to barbecue, other areas prescribed by Miss Carletta or her Top Hand Ms Gayla. Guests will also have areas available to visit some of the animals as well as feed them w/ supervision. They can also hike down to the creek and look for wildlife. Early check in of one hour available if agreed upon prior. Just ask. There will be interaction with friendly and knowledgeable staff regarding the animals for learning experiences and safety. Horse riding lessons, brushing, saddling and riding lessons are available at times (excluding Sundays) for an additional fee. Rural farm and ranch area just south of the historic Johnson County Courthouse on 37 acres. Ms. Carletta has lived here for 20+ years. She has raised her horses being a premier equestrian as well buyer of a few thousand horses over her 40+ career and she’s not about to stop now. She is shy and won’t brag so we have to do it. Put her to the test! Ask her anything about horses. She has a pretty smile too. Parking is easy. Park on either side of the horse trailer There is plenty of space. It’s only a mile and a half back to town for a cowboy breakfast if you prefer rather than cooking. There are also many festivals and antique alley that go on in Cleburne throughout the year. Many restaurants are available from old style cafés to the major chains. Trail rides and riding lessons for children, adults, business retreats, as well as birthday parties, and GF outings (see photos), farm petting visits, animal education, grooming, feeding, and caregiving (except on Sundays).
