A Roost With A View at Chew Valley Lake

“A Roost With A View”, a self contained cabin & garden in the grounds of our family home, with beautiful views of the Mendip Hills. It is a 3 min walk to Chew Valley Lake and 20 min stroll through fields to Chew Magna village, with pubs, restaurants & shops. We are also on the Sustrains Cycle Way. We are close to Bath, Bristol, Cheddar and Wells. A welcome pack of tea coffee, milk & water is provided to get you started, all towels and bedding included. Plenty of parking. No cleaning charges. The space The Roost with a View is based in the grounds of our family home. The Roost has its own small garden where there is outside bench seating and a bbq where our guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the Mendip hills. The accommodation is open plan and is accessed by a veranda with 2 steps up. There is a kitchenette area with a hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle & TV. A box double bed which is accessed by 2 steps up, also a floor level single bed/couch suitable for 2 small children, OR a third adult incurring an extra £10 per night. There is a shower room with WC & hand basin. Electric heating. The Roost and garden is a private space for guests. Guest access Guests will be welcomed by Suzanne at Column Byre to take you to ‘A Roost with a View’. Other things to note There is ample parking for our guests within our garden parking area. There is a single step up on to the covered cabin entrance veranda where there is a hammock for guests use. The Roost has a 1 double bed, also a single bed suitable for 2 small children OR a third adult; a travel cot on request. A third adult or child over the age of 12 will incur an extra over cost of £10 per night.
