Description
Our house is perfectly located for anyone looking to explore Hackney and the rest of East London. We're a 2 minute walk to Homerton overground, as well as being easily located from the A12, and can include parking permits for an extra cost. The house is an original railway workers cottage and has been loving restored over the last 2 years to offer 2 bedrooms with sleeping space for 3 adults or 2 adults and a child or baby. Alongside a fabulous garden studio with fast broadband for wfh. The space Our house is a 2 bedroom cottage situated behind the overground line a 2 minute walk from Homerton station. The space consists of an open plan dining and living area, with an electric fireplace, seating for 6 and a well equipped cosy kitchen and pantry at the back of the house. There is a sweet back garden with space to sit out and a large garden studio which has super fast broadband and a home office space as well as utility and laundry drying facilities. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms one king sized double, and another set up as a single room, which can also include accommodation for either a child or baby, we have a travel cot, baby bath, toys books and changing table etc. There is also a lovely bathroom with corner bath and shower. The house has been a renovation project and the kitchen is yet to be redone so still has a few quirks (80’s floor tiles etc!) But it’s a lovely place to stay for anyone looking to explore the Hackney area! And has a lovely garden with dining space and lots of fresh herbs to help yourself to! The neighbourhood: We’re biased but Hackney is the best! We’ve put together a guide for a nice weekend day if you want to stay local: Wake up and head down to Well Street for a morning coffee (we love well street kitchen) before walking on to London fields. Either take a leisurely stroll round the park, or you could even go for a quick dip in one of east London’s best kept secrets - the heated outdoor lido (book in advance at bettergym) Walk on down to the famous Broadway Market and stop for a beer at the Cat & Mutton before lunch at the franco manca - delicious sourdough pizza! Join the canal at Broadway market and walk due east all the way back to Victoria park and home (short version). Or keep going till you get to Hackney wick and enjoy some drinks on the canal at Barge East or Crate. That’s one of our favourite ways to spend the day! Hope you enjoy and any questions - ping them over! Victoria Park is also awesome and a short walk away, stroll or lime bike down to victoria park village (so beautiful) and get coffee and pastries at pophams victoria park! Further a field: transport is super easy (as we’re next to the tube so you can head into central within 20/30 minutes and discover the rest of London too!) Guest access All of the house Other things to note We can provide parking permits for an extra fee and do permit small dogs, but sadly not cats as I’m allergic. Thanks,
