Sit out on the private deck shaded with greenery, watch the Iguanas lounging. At night, the coqui frogs sing their melodies. PLEASE NOTE There is a local bar across the street that is ONLY open Fri & Sat nights. Loud music until 2 AM. Ear plugs provided. Beach chairs,(3) beach towels, snorkel gear provided. Enjoy! Although on the "main road" in downtown Isabel, this space is built into a cliff below the road, hence the name "Urban Jungle". Although in town, this is surrounded by the jungle arroyo, so no neighbors are close by, giving a strong sense of privacy. Listen to the waterfall and coqui frogs at night, Special! There is a local bar across the street that is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings at most, sometimes it is closed then. Their music is loud until 2 AM. Earplugs are provided plus AC sound helps. The two bedrooms with air conditioning are on opposite sides of the house, giving privacy plus each has a bathroom adjacent to them. Such a convenient location, 2 blocks from the bakery, grocery store, Mama Mia's Pizza, El Bieke's Bistro, Coqui Fire Cafe (make reservations), grocery store, El Sombrero Bar/liquor store closes at 5:00. Ferry is 9 blocks away. Perfect! *****PLEASE NOTE, there is a Ferry that goes to Vieques from Ceiba which is pretty reliable. One car also fly from San Juan International on Cape Air, $100 and up depending on how full the flight gets, from Isla Grande Airport which is a $20 cab ride from San Juan International on Vieques Air Link, $85, and from Ceiba airport on Vieques Air Link $40 Cancellations are NOT ACCEPTED DUE TO FERRY DISRUPTION***** I and all my guests love the space, and I know you will too! Beaches require being driven to, with the exception of Glass Beach which is a short walk from my place. There are many all around the island and are completely undeveloped. Regardless of where one stays in Vieques, driving to the beaches is the deal here. Guest access This is a private apartment with private Deck. During high season they can be "sold out" Travel Options to and from Vieques from San Juan: From San Juan Airport to Ferry - cab is about $80, I can give you the name/number of private drivers who are cheaper. Tickets to Ferry can only be purchased at the Ferry Terminal. Please note that sometimes the ferry may be delayed in leaving, worst rare case, doesn't run. You can also fly to Vieques from main airport in San Juan or take a cab to Isla Grande airport from San Juan International Airport, 10 minute ride $20. Flights are about $95 Or you can take a cab to the airport in Ceiba $80, (private driver cheaper) and fly from there $45 Ceiba airport is close to the ferry in Fajardo Airlines that fly to Vieques: Cape Air flies out of San Juan International only Vieques Air Link flies out of Ceiba, Isla Grande and San Juan International
