Alqueva's Courtyard

House in the heart of the village of Granja, on the banks of the Alqueva River, spacious, generously equipped and with a Boho meets Alentejo decor. With a living room, terrace overlooking the horizon of the Spanish Extremadura forest and an interior patio that offers total privacy for an unforgettable vacation with family or a group of friends. The space Pátio do Alqueva was once a typical Alentejo family residence, an agricultural house and grocery store, having undergone a profound remodeling that essentially gave it its current configuration, in which we endeavored to add our personal interpretation of contemporary well-being, without losing the soul of its History and Alentejo. The house has 5 bedrooms, with the three on the top floor equipped with air-conditioning. The two bedrooms on the lower floor are naturally more thermally comfortable but still have heaters and fans. The house has a kitchen and dining room with an Alentejo fireplace and is generously equipped, and there is an outdoor barbecue area. However, fireplace and barbecue consumables, such as firewood, charcoal, lighters and the like, are not included in the base price. The lounge features air-conditioning and is equipped with board games and a pool table. The house has two LCD TVs, both smart TVs, one with access to cable channels and the other with streaming only available to customers with access to the usual platforms. A garage is available for one vehicle. Pátio do Alqueva provides other complementary services: supply of firewood, charcoal, provision of computer equipment for remote work, kayak and paddle board rental, among others. Guest access The entire house is rented exclusively, but limitations are observed: Only the rooms corresponding to the preferences expressed by the guests will be prepared, and the number of rooms available will correspond to the limit of the number of guests on the reservation. For example, in a reservation for two guests: If guests express a preference for a double room, only one double room will be prepared and made available. If guests express a preference for a room with single beds, only one room with two single beds will be prepared and made available. If guests express a preference for separate rooms, only two rooms will be prepared and made available. The remaining rooms will always be closed and unavailable. Whenever possible, we ask for and welcome the preferences expressed by guests in relation to the rooms of the house, but we reserve the right to select the rooms to be assigned by Pátio do Alqueva, which may occur due to logistical constraints that do not allow us to make the aforementioned choice. In addition, the house has maintenance and storage areas that are off-limits to guests. Other things to note Events are not allowed. Visits by people not staying at the property are not allowed, nor is it allowed to accommodate more people at the property than stated on the reservation.
