Description
Romantic loft apartment – 75 m² for 2 to 5 guests with tower, kitchen, bathroom with bathtub & shower, TV, Wi-Fi, wood-burning stove, spacious garden with barbecue & fire pit, shared terrace Access for all guests: sauna, pool, sun loungers, hammocks, trampoline, table tennis (spring, summer & autumn) and year-round, fitness room, library, 2000 square meter garden with chicken coop & sun terrace with loungers, barbecue and campfire area, slide & sandbox, vegetable garden The space The "Sleeping Beauty Loft" lives up to its name with an inherent sense of gentleness. It is ideal for individuals, couples, and small families—with "small" here encompassing up to three children. The ascent to the fourth floor is a peaceful journey, rewarded by a view akin to that from a tower. An atmosphere awaits that keeps the outside world at bay. Independent heating ensures reliable warmth, while the wood-burning stove adds the kind of cozy charm you’d love to photograph—if only the flames would stay still long enough. The 2,000-square-meter garden features berry bushes, rose shrubs, fruit trees, and a vegetable patch, along with spots for barbecues, campfires, or simply enjoying nature. A communal sauna, outdoor pool, table tennis, sandbox, slide, trampoline, and fitness room are also available, catering to both relaxation and your fitness resolutions. Despite being just a three-minute walk from the market square, the property offers a sense of seclusion—a setting that, with a little imagination, feels like a castle. Start your day right with the aroma of fresh coffee and organic eggs gathered straight from the garden coop. In summer, you can harvest cherries, berries, and lettuce; in autumn, the bounty includes plums, grapes, hardy kiwis, and apples. Winter shifts the scene: sunbathe on the terrace (which, with the right mindset, is delightful even in the cold) or gather around a campfire that crackles as if it has a story to tell. Meanwhile, the kids can build snowmen and go sledding in the garden. For those seeking more active pursuits, the surrounding area offers ski slopes and a cross-country trail network stretching up to 40 kilometers—providing ample opportunity to get lost, or at least contemplate doing so. Further details are available upon request. Late check-out until 4 p.m. is available for an additional fee, as are last-minute bookings for those confident enough to treat themselves. Pets are welcome, provided they behave—or at least convincingly appear to do so. The fine print (that isn't really fine print) Late check-out until 4 p.m. and early check-in are available upon request. A surcharge of 20 euros applies for each. An EV charging station is located on the property. Experience an unforgettable stay at the Art Nouveau Villa Stark. Guest access Communal sauna, gym, pool – spring, summer, autumn, garden with chicken coop, campfire area, communal terrace, hammocks, barbecue facilities, trampoline, vegetable garden, berry bushes, fruit trees Other things to note E-Cars Welcome There is a charging station for electric cars on the premises. It operates using a fuel card. We charge €18 per charging session. Just ask us for the card. All Year Round In the immediate vicinity of Villa Stark, you will find plenty of shopping options, including Edeka, Aldi, Rossmann and the Post-Apotheke pharmacy. The family-run Oehme bakery is approximately 100 metres away and within walking distance. The market square can be reached in three minutes on foot, while the Bergmagazin—a museum showcasing Saxon/Bohemian traditions—and the library are just a five-minute walk away. In Summer In the neighbouring village of Pobershau, you will find a particularly beautiful hiking and climbing area: the Schwarzwassertal valley, complemented by the Katzenstein rock, a popular destination for excursions. Nearby are also the Molchner Stolln show mine, the Rätzteich outdoor swimming pool, and the thermal baths in Wiesenbad and Warmbad—all of which have something to do with water in their own way. Aqua Marien is located in Marienberg and is Saxony’s largest aquatic leisure centre. In Winter When weather conditions permit, groomed cross-country ski trails extending for up to 40 kilometres start in Pobershau and lead through forests, mountains and valleys all the way to the Czech Republic. Both in Pobershau and in Marienberg itself, there is a ski slope with two lifts and a cosy, rustic ski hut. The Marienberg Christmas Market is just a three-minute walk from Villa Stark. On Request Late check-out until 4:00 p.m. – Early check-in from 11:00 a.m. We charge an additional fee of €20 for each service. Pets Welcome You are very welcome to bring your four-legged friend. We charge a flat fee of €8 per day for pets. Loss of Keys of Any Kind In the event that one or more keys are lost—regardless of whether they are a front-door key, apartment key, mailbox key or any other associated key—a flat fee of €50 will be charged for each lost key. This fee applies to each individual key and covers, among other things, the administrative work involved in obtaining a replacement, documentation, and ensuring proper access to the property. Additional costs may arise if, for security reasons, it becomes necessary to replace an entire locking system. Enjoy a truly special holiday experience—with or without your four-legged friend.
