Welcome to the mountain hut in Rondane

Welcome to Rondane National Park! The cabin is located 2 km from Mysusæter, and 2 km from Spranget (the national park starts here). The cabin is located on top of Rondane mountain plateau with the possibility of both short and long trips. For example, you can walk up to the top of Ranglarhø right behind the cabin and get a beautiful view, walk down to Brudesløret, or you can walk or cycle from Spranget to Rondvassbu and plan a top trip from there. It is possible to take a top trip as a day trip from our cabin and the opportunity to rent a bike at Spranget. The space NB! In winter you have to walk 2km from the parking lot or take a snowmobile taxi to the cabin. But when there is no snow, you can drive all the way up through a toll road (costs NOK 50 with VISA/MASTERCARD). There are beds for 4-5 people, divided into 2 bedrooms. Kitchen with running water, dishwasher and most of the equipment you need. The bathroom is brand new and not completely finished yet. Sink, toilet, shower and washing machine available. The washing machine has a dryer and can be used for an agreed fee. Heating cables in the bathroom, heaters in the bedroom and living room/kitchen, and wood-burning stove in the living room. WiFi is included. The cabin has an electric car charger and it is possible to charge for an amount by agreement (preferably via Vipps). PS! Please bring your own charging cable! Also applies if you want to buy food ingredients and coffee at the cabin. The cabin is located 25 min drive from Otta city center where there are several shops. Possibility for dinner service at Rondane mountain lodge which is 1.5 km away. NB! Only open in seasons, see separate website! The price per day assumes that you bring your own bed linen and towels, and clean the bathroom + kitchen and vacuum all rooms before leaving. We make a video call at check-out. In the summer months you can pay NOK 3,000 extra for rental of towels, bed linen, as well as vacuuming and washing. If you only rent towels and bed linen, this costs NOK 350 per stay. (Applies during the summer season: The cleaning fee is paid right before the stay by appointment!). During the winter season the minimum requirement is 2 days, due to heating costs. During Easter, long-term rentals (several days) are preferred and prioritized. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin. Door code is created in agreement with the guests after the rent is paid and is deleted immediately after the stay. Other things to note The cabin has an alarm (both theft and fire alarm).
