Located just a few miles west of downtown Franklin and near the Appalachian Trail, this secluded retreat offers privacy in a wooded setting perfect for your next escape to the mountains. Guest suite is on the lower level of our split level home with separate entrance, private bath, and huge outdoor deck for watching the abundant forest wildlife and taking in the views. Please read all details. The space This is a private guest suite on the bottom level of our split level home in the mountains. You'll enjoy your own private bath, private entrance, and private deck to enjoy watching the deer and bear that frequent the area. A king sized bed welcomes you alongside a wood burning fireplace for those cool mountain evenings. Enjoy a dedicated workspace with strong cell signal on Verizon. Wi-fi runs on Starlink and isn’t ideal for heavy streaming, but it does the trick for basic stuff. No arrivals after 10pm please. Roads are well maintained gravel and steep but a 2WD works fine. Bring a flashlight if arriving after dark. Please read all listing info before booking. Guest access You'll have the entire downstairs guest suite to yourself. Private entrance and private deck. Please be advised that it get's dark on the mountain at night! Plan to bring a flashlight or use the one on your phone. Parking is at the top of the driveway and you walk down the lower half of the driveway to get to your guest suite (no stairs). Things to note: No arrivals after 10pm please. Do not park in front of the garage. Guest parking is up top by the red gate. There is no TV. The kitchenette dry bar (no sink) features a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot water kettle, and complimentary tea, coffee and instant oatmeal. Basic dishware, is included.
