Located just a short walk from the Sinnemahoning river, at the base of the mountains of Benezette, and close to the picturesque Grant Bridge. Winslow Hill is just a mile up the road where the elk viewing areas are located and the Elk Visitor Center is located. We also have accommodations for horses and horse trailers. Maps are included of trails in the Quehanna Wild area and of the Thunder Mountain Equine Trail System. Open floor plan lower level guest suite/studio of our vacation home. We have enjoyed this home and would like to share it with you ! The elk come right into our back yard ! Your rental includes a very large open room approximately 800 square feet with combined living, dining, and sleeping areas. It further includes a separate laundry room with washer and dryer, full bathroom, full kitchen, and a separate patio area. Entire bottom guest suite and back yard /patio and firepit. Also the tie stalls are available for horses and plenty of parking and ease pulling in and out with a horse trailer. Access to bottom suite is located down the steps on the left side of the house. Access to the tie stalls - pull in the first driveway past the house .. right in front of Donells gift shop .. pull down this driveway and park to the right on the grassy area. You can access the tie stalls by going across the wooden bridge or just walking over the small drainage ditch . When leaving you can pull your horse trailer around the gift shop and out . Available for questions! Make sure to follow the sidewalk down the steps on the left side of the house. The bottom half of the house is where our guests will be staying Peaceful getaway for you and your family. The scenery in Benezette is spectacular! Nestled between two mountains on the branch of the Sinnemahoning River . Just a short walk to the river, a short drive to hiking trails and horse trails. Hiking, horse back riding, biking, motorcycle, car! Read our manual! I have included many recommendations of what to do in the area. I have also provided a book of our family photos over the years. This area is God's country ! Outdoor activities include hiking, biking, fishing, swimming , horse back riding , exploring and just enjoying this beautiful area.
