Morning sunrises... the lakes rhythmic waves lapping on the shore outside your bedroom window... sunny days on the dock or stormy evenings in the cabin. Wake up and fall asleep to the calming sights and sounds that surround you; loon calls, abundant bird life, ducks playing in the water and the Bruce Beaver. Take a nap or read a book in the comfy chaise lounge chair; located in the upstairs loft, enclosed in the glass railing to ensure you don’t miss a moment of the lake life. Brew yourself an organic shot of Nespresso, add your frothed milk, put your feet up in a swivel arm chair, or hit the dock and take in all the beauty and peace Berford Lake has to offer. This stunning property is right on the water, you’ll feel like you’re sitting on a houseboat. This cabin offers a private shoreline pebble stone patio complete with BBQ, fire pit, Adirondack chairs, dining table and bench. Whatever your moments are, they'll always be wrapped up with Mother Natures ways to rest, explore or play! Guest access The dock is available for guests, complete with 4 Adirondack chairs, 1 table, 2 umbrellas, lake noodles & blow up donut floaties . A ladder for easy lake entry is available as the rock shelf that the dock is built above can be slippery. Outdoor towels (dock and sauna) are not provided. Guests must take their own outdoor towels. Our new Canadian Cedar Hot Tub is tucked on the shore of Berford Lake and nestled amongst the cedar trees a few steps from your door. It’s available for guests upon request for $95.00. Connect with Audrey when you arrive to have it prepped. Towels and housecoats as well as entry mat is provided. For those who prefer smokeless campfires we now offer a propane campfire upon request for $10.00. Other things to note We are a natural chemical free zone and understand some people may have allergies and sensitivities. We kindly ask that you respect this natural space and use all aerosol sprays outside (perfumes, bug spray, spray sunscreens, etc). If cooking bacon, we have provided aluminum foil for use only on the BBQ, located on the private patio outside. Please dispose of the fat in the garbage indoors. Paper towels or wipes are provided. If you’re not into wood burning fires outside on the patio , we also have a propane fire pit. It’s available for 10.00 We provide fresh spring water from a local artesian well. It is tested regularly by the ( Clean Water Agency) municipality. For those who will be purchasing our Lakeside Fire & Ice ( Sauna, Cold Plunge & Hot Tub) package we ask that skin lotions be removed before entry in the hot tub.
