Only about 5 minutes from R D Bailey dam with picnic/play areas and visitor center with a nice view of the dam and lake. Great for boating and fishing. Close to trail 12, Mexican restaurant, grocery stores, Dollar stores, Giovanni’s, & more! Lots of hiking areas and other local parks and recreation areas. The space The space is neat and groomed. Mountain behind the cabin can be hiked. Children must, however, be watched by an adult at all times—-especially in the pool area. Remember, snakes can be present anywhere; after all this is the country. Some playground equipment for kids ex. Swings, climbing dome, trampolines. Not wheelchair accessible. Guest access Guests are free to walk in the woods and the property from the pool to the cabin. It’s a good, but demanding trek to hike the woods so guests are encouraged to explore. Other things to note Neighbors are quite friendly and the area is very safe.
