Your oversized room features high ceilings, wood floors, a ceiling fan (with remote control) and all-new quality furniture for your comfort. Enter through French doors off the backyard, accessed via a path from the front yard. Sleep soundly on the comfortable king bed with plenty of pillows and cotton bedding, additional fold-up twin-sized Asian style floor bed available in closet. Indulge in convenient amenities including an electric hot water kettle, Keurig coffee, toaster oven, refrigerator, a Britta water filter, dining table, and Roku TV. Note: no microwave. The bathroom boasts two sinks, an oversized tub for relaxing baths, and a walk-in closet. Rest assured, our newer house is well-insulated with an excellent air/heat system, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay. If you need the temperature adjusted, please let me know and I will make that change. The neighborhood offers sidewalks and streetlights, perfect for leisurely walks. My front yard is transitioning from grass to micro-clover. As a single mom working full time, it's a slow process. Also, I don't use poison on my yard, so it's not perfect, but beautiful al the same. Centrally located in the Rogue Valley, we're less than 10 minutes from downtown Medford, downtown Jacksonville, and just 25 minutes to the Oregon Shakespeare Theatre in downtown Ashland. Please note: In order to keep the space a clean and well-kept oasis, we ask that you eat only at the table. It's a nice table with comfortable chairs. Guest access Please note: the walkway from the gate to the backyard is on gravel with stepping stones. It is possible to roll your suitcase along the path with relative ease, however it's not as smooth or easy as rolling on cement. Definitely not difficult, unless you have some limitations. I am more than happy to help -- just let me know when you are going to arrive and I will be available to help. Guests have access to the large private bedroom, master bathroom and back porch. You will enter and exit through the french doors that lead to the back yard, walking down the gravel and stepping stone path beside the house to the front gate and driveway. During your stay You don't share space with anyone else. You likely won't see us either. The door out of your bedroom to the rest of the house stays locked. We do live in the house, and do our best to keep noise down. We have a 5lb Peekapoo dog who does bark a little, as dogs do. Also, I work Monday through Friday 8am, so I am up early. If you need help or have questions during your stay, I am available and aim to answer your questions right away. If you are staying a night or two and have a smaller, hypoallergenic dog, we can discuss a possible stay. Other things to note In addition to your stay, we offer ceramic dishes as well as some compostable plates, cups, and utensils for your convenience. Indulge in relaxation with our oversized bathtub, complete with Epsom salts provided for a soothing bath experience. Parking is hassle-free with ample street parking available. Our wide and peaceful street is nestled in South Medford in one of the area's most desirable neighborhoods.
