The Colonial Pod

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Find yourself indulging in a countryside break for up to 2 adults. Something a little different, where exotic meets the great British outdoors. Our colonial themed 6m bell tent with king sized bed is fully equipped and made ready with linens and towels for a stress-free and luxurious trip. Pour yourself something special and watch the sun go down from your private deck, you’ll think it’s Africa! The space This large bell tent is located on a 5 acre pasture with only 2 other shepherds huts located on site. The site borders an old canal, is surrounded by farm fields and has a substantial pond. The bell tent has its own private composting loo, kitchenette area as well as fire pit with grill and hammock. There are shared washing up and shower facilities on site. Guest access A gate code will be issued in a message a day before arrival. Guests may use all of the site except the private areas located in front of the other glamping pods. Other things to note The bell tent is suitable for 2 adults (King bed). Dogs are permitted but are not allowed in the unit unless to sleep at night with clean dry paws. No dogs allowed on beds or furniture. Please note the loo is composting and there are instructions for how to correctly use it in the toilet itself as well as in the welcome book. Only USB phone chargers available as the site is run on 12v solar energy only. There is no regular 220v electricity or WiFi on site .
