This quaint family friendly cabin is the perfect place to create memories that are sure to last a lifetime. The cabin comes complete with all the comforts of home, has a total of 8 bed which can comfortably sleep 10 guests, and 1.5 bathrooms. Only 1 minute off the Trans-Canada Highway, located on one of the very few sandy shores of Shuswap Lake. Escape with the whole family!! The space Located in Villas By The Lake, this small family friendly community is the perfect getaway to Shuswap Lake. Upon arriving at the property, you will step out of your vehicle, drop your bags at the door, slip off your shoes and you are only steps away from the sandy beach and crisp freshness of the famous Shuswap Lake. Enter the home to a wide-open kitchen, with ample cupboard space, a full-size fridge perfect for stocking up on some goodies from our local farmers markets, a mini fridge to keep your beverage ice cold and plenty of counter space for preparing a feast fit for a family. An island high bar along the kitchen, dining table with chairs and benches off the living room, and multiple picnic tables outside allow for multiple dining areas or use the dining room table as an office space for those travelers needing to catch up on some work during there time, you cannot beat that office view! Take in the views of the lake and Copper Island from the panoramic windows that stretch across the front of the cabin. Continue your voyage into the “under the sea” themed living room where you can unwind with a book or watch your favorite childhood movies on the DVD player or stream the newest release on NETFLIX. The main floor is complete with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bathroom has a full-sized shower and bathtub, large vanity, and stackable washer and dryer. The ensuite bathroom is a half bathroom. The house is stocked with plenty of bath towels and beach towels for your use. There are two private bedrooms on the main floor that allow you to rest your head at night. The master suite has a queen-sized bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. Both rooms offer plenty of closet space for your belongings. Head upstairs to the loft where more magic awaits, and laughter is to be had. This wide-open space has a total of 5 twin beds and one double bed. Travel back in time to your childhood and be emersed into the nostalgia of the decades with the original cartoon bedding. Fully stocked with hours of fun and boardgames to challenge your loved one too. Plenty of space for kids to play and dream. After your day exploring, come back to your home away from home, pour a glass of wine and take in the plethora of colors from the amazing Shuswap sunsets as dinner cooks on the BBQ and the grandkids build sandcastles on the beach. This escape is a fairytale in its own and a place where magical memories are made. Guest access The guests will have access to the entire house during their stay . The shed on the property is off limits to guests. There is a community firepit next to the cabin, fires are only permitted when there are no fire-bans in place, please check with your property manager if you are unsure. Please remember this is a community fire and we enforce that are guests must be respectful of other community members. Kids can enjoy the small playground in the park that guests are welcome to use. Other things to note The amount of beach varies due to the time of year. In May/June the water levels rise and there is less beach and sometimes no beach during this time. In the summer months depending on our weather there is up to 100ft of beach area. Community fire pit: There is a community firepit next to the rental. This area is shared by the park so please be respectful of other people enjoying the fire. Wood is not provided so if you would like to have a fire we recommend you bring some or purchase locally. Fires are not permitted during fire bans All fires must be extinguished fully and never left unattended. British Columbia is prone to wildfires in the summer months. Sometimes are areas can be impacted directly or impacted by smoke and poor air quality. In the worst of these conditions, they can also change daily. Guests booking in the summer months in BC should be aware of these conditions before booking and refunds will not be given within our cancellation policy unless there is travel advisories issues by the BC government.
