Please note the maximum number of guests is 8 All bedrooms and the lounge have usb sockets. Bathroom with shower and toilet , and a separate toilet . All bedlinen provided . Hand towels provided. towels and beach towel’s available on request for a small fee of £2 per towel to offset cleaning costs . Well behaved dogs welcome for an additional fee ( made when booking ) Other things to note Thank you for choosing our caravan for your holiday. Please note for insurance purposes the maximum number of guests is 8 . Any group larger than this will be asked to leave and will be fully liable for any damage or extra costs associated with their stay. The address is Plot G8 Fairways Caravan Park, Perowne Way , Sandown, Isle of Wight PO36 9PB . The journey by car from Fishbourne car ferry terminal is around 30mins and 20mins from Ryde SeaCat terminal. The barrier to the entrance to the park closes for cars between 8pm and 8am so try to arrive outside these hours if you are in a car. We will however meet you at the barrier with the fob by prior arrangement. The key and barrier fob will be given to you on arrival . If the Barrier is down when leaving by car you can just drive towards it and it will open. You only need the fob if driving into the park at night Check in is after 3pm and check out before 11am however this is negotiable upon request. Book your ferry early as it’s costly when you leave it Late. Wightlink also take Clubcard vouchers giving a good discount. Your stay Includes gas, electric , all bed linen and hand towels only . PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS. ( we can provide towels and beach towels with prior notice for a small fee of £2 per towel to offset laundry fees ) Please turn things off when leaving the caravan. Bins Are located at the bottom of the park . Turn left outside the door . The bins are large bins at the the end of the lower car park. Washing There is a laundrette opposite the club bar ‘McCarthy’s’ it’s open Monday -Friday 9-5 . The last wash is 4.15pm . The washing machine takes 4 pound coins and 1 50p (£4.50) The tumble dryer takes 50ps but you’ll need about £3.00 to dry a load so there’s an airer which can hang outside the windows at the back , pegs are supplied . An iron and small ironing board are supplied . McCarthy’s Bar and Restaurant This is a refurbished bar and restaurant! The Sunday lunch is really nice. You will need to book it , they can be found on face book , or book at the bar. Shopping There is a central shop opposite the site entrance and a Tesco extra at lake hill . Aldi and Morrisons are 2 miles away at Lake Out and about The beach is a 20 min walk or 5 min drive . The best beach is at yaverland to the left end of Sandown bay under the culver cliffs . The walk up culver down is beautiful with amazing views ! There’s a cafe and a pub near the memorial at the top. To the right of the entrance to the park is ‘the red squirrel trail’ lovely for a walk or cycle. The island has loads to do but the needles and Osborne House are lovely days out ! Quarr Abbey is also very peaceful. Checking in and out: Check in is after 3pm and check out before 11.00am unless by prior arrangement. WiFi : The Wi-Fi code is in the folder Winter guests:- There is an electric fire in lounge and a free standing oil filled radiator for your use , also panel heaters in the bedrooms .You will need these on in the winter but please turn them off when you leave the caravan for days out and when checking out .
